THE WAY THE WEST WAS WON is the collective title for a group of works made up of 'Those bones', 'No country for old men' (the fenceposts), 'Cross town traffic' (the stile) 'The way things go this too wll pass' (the mirror/one of the twelve just judges) and 'Yesterdays News' (video) all made for the group show 'Between the devil and the deep blue sea' at Mélanie Rio Gallery. The show curated by Frédéric Emprou includes works by Michelle Naismith, Georgia Nelson, Marc Geneix, Hubert Marécaille, Ivo Provost, and myself and runs through to the end of July. THE WAY THE WEST WAS WON follows on from the show Still not out of the woods at Aliceday earlier in the year.
